This is the registration for YBA PLAY's Ward 8 site at FEREBEE HOPE. YBA PLAY is the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy's largest program taking place across locations in wards 5-8 during the summer months.

YBA PLAY is the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy's largest program. YBA PLAY is a high-quality, structured, consistent, and fun developmental baseball/softball opportunity for girls and boys ages 6-12 that offers year round baseball clinics each MONDAY & WEDNESDAY for ages 6-9 and each TUESDAY & THURSDAY for ages 10-12 at four different locations in Wards 5-8. YBA PLAY is focused on growing the game of baseball by minimizing barriers to participation, particularly for low-income communities; YBA PLAY is FREE and provides ALL uniform and equipment needs. By using modified rules, YBA PLAY is able to make the game more accessible to new players, more fun by promoting a faster pace of play, and reward effort over skill.

Attendance:

Given YBA PLAY measures social emotional learning (character development) and physical fitness levels, attendance is important! Attendance is key for our PLAYers to achieve more growth in both areas AND for us as coaches to measure that growth. Please do your best to get your child to all YBA PLAY activities.

Attire:

• Closed toed shoes (Cleats are not required!)
• Full water bottle
• Athletic wear, appropriate for weather
